"Small Prayer." I dunno. Couldn't think of a title. First of all, some music from Malice Mizer, Schwarz Stein, and Gackt kept me SANE throughout this painful process.
 Holy Crap. But I'm so proud of this. I tried a new lineart technique on Open Canvas because I love solid, crisp lineart. Heh. I worked on this throughout most of my classes... Damn Senioritis. Not like we're doing much work now anyway. Sadly, since this Laptop was loaned to us, I'll have to return it before I graduate. I'm gonna miss the built-in tablet monitor! ;____;I am going to make a nice print-out of this so I can give it to Laura Bailey when I go to AnimeNEXT. Actually, that was the reason why I drew this. Laura Bailey is the English voice of Tohru, of course. As well as Lust from Full Metal Alchemist, Keiko from Yu Yu Hakusho, and young ChiChi and young Trunks from the Dragonball series. In my opinion, she didn't mess up Tohru's voice; it seemed to suit the character. I still prefer Horie Yui's voice though.  The background and such seems too cluttered and distracting. D: But... there is significance to the white lilies, yellow ribbon, and beads. Any good Fruits Basket fan should know.  Plus, I wanted to be clever. >3;I definately spent more than 15 hours on this... on and off. Lineart done on Open Canvas. Colored on PhotoShop CS. The lilies were from the episode when they all went to visit Tohru's mom's grave. =3 Plus, I really like those flowers even before watching the series. I'm happy that you like and I'm excited about giving this to her.
